The Galley Restaurant in Mystic

Way overpriced and disgusting, wasted $40 on lunch - young kids even said it was too gross to eat (hot dog tasted nasty and grilled chicken had soggy onions and soggy spinach on it). Go outside the seaport to eat.

So far this oddly was the best tasting food during our stay here. I had a fish sandwich which was the best fish sandwich I've ever had. My 3 year old ate the whole foot long hot dog. One thing, they didn't have any lobster left so they had to cancel out my order and credit me back, but the staff was so friendly they offered me anything else I wanted. Got the chicken fingers which were quite awesome, definitely not the frozen default kind. Decent prices for being in a museum area.

A lot of clams and fries for 13 dollars, exceeded expectations

I am going with a neutral star with this because I did not eat here, you have to buy an entry to the seaport to get to this restaurant. This is not accessible by road.

Pretty good for an inside the museum place to eat, expensive for what you get but not outrageously so.

I like this place a lot. It has a friendly mood. The meals are marvelous. the service is powerful and the personel is professional. The cost is satisfactory. extremely recommend.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Galley. Reasonably priced casual fare. Portions were huge and the food was fresh, hot and delicious. The dining room was clean and well maintained. The staff was pleasant and accommodating.

Large portions, nothing fancy but good flavor. Lots of space inside, staff had their masks on.

We stopped by for a quick lunch while visiting Mystic Seaport. For the price and location this place can't be beat. On the staff suggestion my husband and I both had the lobster roll meal, which was delicious. The kids had grilled cheese, which was perfect kid food for them. There aren't a ton of different choices on the menu but it all seemed much more affordable than other restaurants nearby. We loved eating in air-conditioned comfort while enjoying the beautiful view.

Wonderful atmosphere, casual delicious well priced food. Something for everyone. A perfect break for food at the museum. I’m a member so I stop in for food every chance I get!!

Omg!!! It has been a long time since I've eaten fried clams! Let me just say I was not disappointed!!!!! Loved it, it was delicious 🤤 P.S.... Sorry about the picture, I realized I ate most of it before i took the pic 😂

Great adventure.. you travel and see past history and appreciate life even more. Our 4 yrs old loves it.

The atmosphere is great but the food is so premade at least sandwiches and salads were, not very appetizing. Burger was ok but fries were cold.
